Is there a boat launch or anything in Lyle? Something on the Klickitat or Columbia? At least access by kayak would be a last resort option.
Are there other ways to walk there (someone said something about under the bridge over the klickitat river)? |

The rowena boat launch is close. That is how we get to Secret Spot as well.

If you head east from the parking lot across the street and follow the path you'll go under the street bridge. We need to do some clearing but we could make it under the RR bridge as well.

Forrest, What does this add to the walk? Will we still park at our regular corner parking lot? _________________ CGKA Member

Adds about 200 yards to the walk I think. I'll scope it out next time I'm at Lyle.

Going under the bridge you still have to cross the traintracks, I think it is way more dangerous as you cant't see the trains coming as well.

Downwinder from the Event Site. We've been wanting to do that anyways. Get out slightly east of the Lyle sandbar on the Oregon side!
