spots in Lincoln City

anybody know of any good spots in Lincoln City other than Roads End?

Newport is close as well but not driving a lot would be nice.

The last time that I went to Newport, I saw at least 5 Slingshot kites out at the D-River Wayside on the south end of Lincoln City. I haven't kited there myself, but it looked reasonably good.

my experience is that roads end is the best spot around for early wind, waves (there aren't any right now Confused

), and accessibility. There's not really a classic wave setup in LC but I've launched from a couple of spots south.. towards nelscott. All beach break and open, check it at low tide 'cus there's lots of reef heads. If it is real windy from the N NE and there's not alot of surfers, gas chambers and south towards B Straub park in PC can be a nice grab.
