				| The Port will allow launching from the grass if the sandbar is under water. 
 This is good news. From the waterfront manager :
 
 I met with Doug our Event Site host this afternoon to discuss the high water launching.  He agreed to help monitor it so we are going to give it a shot to open it tomorrow.  I will try to keep it open as long as the water is high and the crowds are low.   If it gets super busy where it appears unsafe we will close it back down.  Please share with this with those who might want to know.
 
 It will be a lot easier for the Port to keep it open if people are being careful and respectful of the beach goers.
