on a serious note... has anyone kited near sandy island (N of woodland?).
I was driving home yesterday, and noticed some sandy beaches, good winds, and fairly flat water.... am I giving away another SS? |

Kalama..yeah you can kite there. I believe it is kiteable when Jones and Sauvie's is on. I think it is Todd Road exit off I-5, cross the tracks, drive down a bit.
Lots a fisherman and beach goers, last time I was there |

| People have been kiting over there for a long time... There are some sweet spots in woodland, lots of "yokles" to dodge though. |

| Kalama is a great spot! Been there on days when the fishermen really dominate the beach. Nothing a smile and a little bit of chatter before you rig/launch cant fix though. Easy launch but careful of the pilings downwind and of course the beach-goers. |
