Here is the email that I am sending to everyone I know. I thought that I would share it with all of you.
Hello All,
The kiteboarding community in the Gorge will be hosting a day (August 25, 2007) where all kiters will be kiting for one common goal: to help find a cure for cancer! I will be donating my time towards this effort as well. Recently, my mother was diagnosed with cancer, but the doctors performed some magic and she is recovering nicely. At the moment, she is dealing with chemo therapy and radiation treatments. Her spirits seem high and I know her will is strong. The doctors are confident that she will make a full recovery. For me it's great news, but I know there are many people out there who are not as fortunate.
So, I ask you to help me fight this fight by donating what you can. Please visit my fundraising website and give anything that you can. On August 25th, I may not win the freestyle expression session but I hope to be the kiter with the most laps kited.
