Hi everybody... I need some input, opinions.. advice about which kites to buy... specifically SLE's. I have heard such good things about the best waroo ... I am very interested tod hear what you'all have to say.. thanks everyone.. Smile ps I can only afford to purchase one kite right now..so a 9m for the gorge would be the best size??.. I am a low intermediate rider who weighs around 180 lbs... thanks in advance for any input// cheers.. shred the gnar..

no brands vs. threads please, if you want feedback on a particular kite just start a separate thread for each. better yet arrange a demo so you can really get a sense of it.

to answer your question about 9m's ... yes a 9m is the bread and butter size in the Gorge.

Somebody asked me why I locked this here was my response (hope everybody understands its all about keeping the stoke alive.):

Mostly brand vs. brand kite threads. KiteForum is a good example of what happens when everybody just wars over what kite to buy. Most of the really insightful posts get drowned out by the legions of brand fanboys dueling it out.

It's not really that fun or useful in my opinion. If you really want to get feedback on a kite or some gear just post asking about that particular item, no reason to pit bias people against one another.
