Following a friend on facebook who has the Lift e-foil... The board is huge to hold the battery and enough volume so the rider can stand... Its the size of a small sup.

Just got back from another test run. This was my best test yet. Rode around for about an hour. Not standing yet but doing touch and goes foiling with an extended foil go around. Yesterday was a bad test run. Broke a cheap kite pump putting a vacuum on control box. Decided to go out anyway, that was a mistake. Box filled with 2 inches of water and my water alarm was screaming. Back to the dock to survey the damage. After I dried it out - still working, won't do that again. Need to work on a water proof remote, the plastic bag thing is getting old fast.

Dope, thanks for sharing. Do you have a link to your build on th efoil forum? I wonder if you could stick the remote in a waterproof camera bag.

How is the water entering your remote? Through the wiring port?

Very cool!
I was going to sell an almost new Slingshot Dialer, but now i'm thinking it might be a good choice for a DIY Efoil... I wonder how hard it would be to hollow out & seal a battery compartment? Do you have a build thread anywhere? The orange LF mast makes a lot of sense due to ease of running the wires. How did you get the mount hardware made? I was thinking an electric trolling motor would be a good choice; lot's of R&D already into it. What are your thoughts on that?

Here’s a link to the efoil builders forum. Great resource for anyone curious about building their own efoil.

Also, check out this Canadian group’s effort to make a DIY efoil kit:
