SO good!
My girlfriend and I did a downwinder from Sunset to Gearhart.
Definitely the first real north day of the season. Still blowing at 6.

Was pretty decent wind. Was a little light and hard to stay upwind due to the side shore currents but the downwinder worked out. We had a great time, kited about 4 hours. Weather was beautiful!

Good to see a few kites up yesterday. Very nice wind and fun waves for downwinders. Rallied a couple bros for a DW daily double at the jetty late in the day. Readings were nice all the way down to Seaside. That's a few N wind days now, hopefully we'll see lots more this spring .

I was further south and hit siletz... sun was out, i was hot in my wetsuit...but I still hit it for about 2 hours.
perfect NW wind for my waroo 12... i found a few wind holes up by mo's, but man... if you think siletz is good on a south.... hit it on a northwest. I hit it about 2 hours before low tide, plenty of beach to set up on, and I had the river + tide to give me that extra push to fill the kite with power... the unbelievable part was that I had it all to myself... wait...did I say siletz was good? man, it sucked out there...don't go there...you'll waste your time!
i got to try out my new lightwind board from the other post. Scalloped sides are the shiz... in one tack, i could make the same distance as a "there and back" on my normal board. The only problem is, that the widest part of the board is at the tips, which puts a little spray in your face every once in a while. Going to try a few things around the ends of the board. The board is superlight, and I got really lucky and hit the flex just right...it's like a cadillac.
Here's my score
lightwind: A
upwind: A+
spray: B-
flex/overall feel: A+!!!
