i've seen people launch at the other end (down towards the boat ramp) when the water was high. Not sure exactly where though.
sorry about the water level. |

did you take the pathway through the trees east toward the flat water area downwind of the upper island? We had good luck there early season. It can be VS infested so don't go alone |

yep, I went to Rooster after work....nicely lit.. only had my 16m for Sauvies from Tues....was hoping there would be some peeps out...
It is launchable East of usual beach by the lagoon...just need some assistance.
The guys on the stand-ups looked like they had a good time in the swell.
F.Y.I. - I was solo, so didn't leave the car for very long....the V.S. were rolling about 8 cars deep...so, I checked my bearnings, stayed low, and made it out un-cornholed.. |

Ha. Sounds like we could have had a crowd at Rooster.. as I as well pulled in round 4.30, after seeing sweet conditions at Stevenson, but moved on as no one was around for launch assistance.
Flooded up through the trees to the bottom of the stairs. Didn't feel like hiking in the muck, so I took off.
Hit Stevenson on the way home with the SS after work crew. Good times on a 12. |
