Sat Feb 20, 16 4:05 pm la Ventana places to stay recommendations? |
|
|
I am headed down to LVT the 1st week of March for a week to learn to kite. I'm traveling solo and looking for recommendations on where to stay- hotel-hostel or Airbnb- I speak reasonably fluent Spanish. I'd like to stay on a budget but also want to be somewhere with nice views and good people. I'm planning on bring my own gear so a place to dry it/store it would be good.
Does anyone have recommendations?
Thanks, |

Baja Joe's: right on the beach, no major rocks/reefs in front. |

Use the search with key word Ventana and you'll find a ton of info on here. The cheapest option for being right down close is to camp...New Wind use to let you put up a tent and you're right on the beach. |

However, I'd say your best bet is to camp in the "main" campground (across from Pablo's Mercado) for $100 pesos per day. Tiled baņo w/showers and water available for washing gear/laundry/shower, etc. Plus right on the beach for easy launching. For the $$$ it's a no-brainer. All you need is a backpack tent or whatever to sleep in and store gear. Easy/simple/cheap way to go. _________________ Slack Lines Suck! |
