Thu Jun 18, 15 4:49 pm SUPing Lacamas Lake |

Great time SUPing on Lacamas lake with Joanne on her birthday today! My first time up on a SUP too! We got Slingshot inflatable crossbreeds for Christmas and finally took them out today. I can't recommend them highly enough too. I rented in Hawaii but never could stand up, too unstable. I stood right up on the 12"6" Slingy with no problems. I finally see why everyone is doing the SUP now. |

Event site to Wells island and back is a fun SUP. The inflatables don't take that long to pump, 10 minutes or less. _________________ Slingshot | Ride Engine |Try before you buy | PM me

Yeah. that must be fun.................................NOT !
I'd rather be weeding my backyard than paddling like an idiot.
At least I'd get something done. Forget SUP, GO FISHING. |

A $27 coleman pump will fill the volume, using the SUP pump hose, in a couple of minutes. Then I pumped up the rest manually. Wow, that sucks! I'm going to rig a setup so I can use CO2 to pump the pressure in in a couple of seconds. (I use CO2 on 12m and larger kites too. 10m kites pump up too quick to be worth using CO2.) I can pump up a 17m turbine in about 15 seconds with CO2, so it should work pretty good with a SUP. |

??? So, do you like know how to fish? How would I possibly catch a brown trout if I was rigged up for oversize sturgeon? Are there even any brown trout in the Columbia? Besides, catching a brownie on a SUP would certainly be worthy. Not all that easy of a fish to catch... Of course, catching an oversize sturgeon on a SUP would be "Gman" worthy.
Anyways, trolls aside, I am definitely psyched about one more way to enjoy the outdoors! |

Interesting. I will try this.
FYI, While on our beach in Mexico I did an "experiment". It is 260 pumps to get the Naish One ISUP fully inflated. In that heat & humidity I can only do this in about 3 shifts, with ice cold refreshments.
Then, if you are staying put in the same location all winter, I just deflate it every use down about 50 pumps so as to avoid a sun-heat explosion or damage. _________________ CGKA Member
