Directional Kiteboards in Maui

Does anyone have suggestions for renting a directional in Maui? Thanks!

Do a search on Maui and you'll get lots of recommendations. The shops are mostly the same and kinda spendy I think but you have the advantage of trading for different boards and surf boards if it's not windy.

I've had good luck hanging out at the beach on the first day and striking a deal with locals who have a bunch of old boards in their car.

STORMRIDER on this forum also used to rent a board or 2.

the shops closest to Kanaha all have boards to rent $25 a day and I've had them give me a day for free when the wind didn't develop.

Adventure Sports Maui hooked me up with everything I needed for 24 hours for $100.

When I say everything I needed I mean:

2015 11m Cab Drifter with overdrive control bar
Mystic Razor Harness
2015 5'8" Cab Phenom Surfboard
Leash
Pump

I'm not sure what the board alone would have cost. Maybe $50 for the day?

this is the 2nd time I've rented from these guys and both times I've been super impressed with their service and prices.

$25/day for the Cabrinha boards. Rented both the Phenom and Triggers a month ago. Awesome boards.

Check Maui Craigslist. You can find some great stuff there.
