Sandbar/Spit Launch Clean-Up Saturday 5/25 10AM

The Sandbar/Spit is the epi-center of kiteboarding in the Gorge and even if you don’t admit it, you probably kite there!

Join the team for a quick clean up. We have some maintenance ideas that will make a difference. This work will take no more than 3 hours and will finish with a BBQ courtesy of CGKA.

Bring: gloves – loppers – machetes - Pulaski - shovels

We're not going out onto the Sandbar to remove debris. The Clean-Up we're doing on Saturday is focus on the area at the bottom of the ramp right out of the parking lot, with an emphasis on making the lunching better. The Sandbar is an under utilized resource during high water, and a great place to hang out for kiters with families.

The Port is doing a ramp widening and smoothing project. This should happen before Memorial Day!
