So I have a class I have to take January 7-February 8 somewhere in Oregon and I want to kite and surf as much as possible. Options are:
Astoria
Bandon
Coos Bay
Florence
Gold Beach
Hood River
John Day
Tillamook
Gotta rank my top 3 choices-what do you guys think the best options for wind/waves that time of year are? |

| First, just take the "class" in Maui. But if you are locked into Oregon, I'd go Bandon, Gold Beach and then Astoria. |

I edited because I didn't see you meant mid winter.
Take your pic, winter is going to offer southerlies up and down the coast, really doesn't matter where you are for kiting. I think u already kn.ow whr to go for surf. |
