... or did it just go nuclear at 3:30 this afternoon?
Tack on another 15+ for sensor reading light and that's a lot of wind. Cool

The wind meter seems to be working correctly now.
It says 40-60mph this morning.
The Rooster Cam confirms.
Temp only 33 degrees.

Will rooster be good today? I'll suit up for some good riding. Anyone going who knows the scoop? I've been once on an east wind (18-20mph if I remember) during summer and it was pretty good.

Well here is the scoop, if u like to ride by yourself, have no beach to rig and launch or land from, endure near freezing air temps and water temps in the low 40's and or high 30's, and ride in 5m gusty wind and sunshine, then it will be awesome today.

My 2 cents is go ride on the snow somewhere with or without a kite; warmer, safer, and all around more enjoyable IMHO.

Hell yes! Very Happy Hopefully I'll hit days like this again eventually. Nothing makes you feel more alive than surviving a day like that! Better yet, mid 30's water and mid 20's air temps. When ice on your lines ends your water session, you know you hit it good! Very Happy

Fanlike 40 to 60 - you can see the water dropped or the wind shoved it all downriver...

Bet there is frozen tundra to launch from if you are into that - we are going to Nak's instead and he is going to beat us with a 2x4
