Very Happy ...... Shocked
At first I thought awesome!!!
Then I saw your prices
....And I thought the Caribbean Pirates left me feeling violated
I should have bought Nak's Ski and rented it out, would have been paid for in a few days Laughing

ALL BAD. Jet Skier's are the absolute worst thing to have on the river especially on windy days. I've had more than a couple close encounters with some a-hole on a wave runner jumping blindly through the hatchery

His prices are pretty standard for the industry.

Cool option though thanks for letting us know

Wow guys thanks for the positive feedback.

If you read my post the skis will only be available east of the hood river bridge, unless your fellow kiters would like a support vehicle.

Have a great summer.

I read that the skis will be available east of the bridge, but what's to stop someone from going down river?

The ski will self destruct in a glorious ball of flames if it goes east of

as someone who enjoy's filming friends ride and making short movies I'll definitely consider this service. Also sounds like a really fun no wind option.

$70/hr really doesn't sound that bad when you consider the price of gas.

personally I'm bored with a jetski after the first hour anyway Wink

my son is learning to windsurf and I would love to rent one and be able to give him the security of knowing I am there while he was out in the channel. Kind of a security blanket as it can be pretty big out there. not trying to baby him just push him and let him know if it hits the fan I am there! I would only need an hour so it would not be too bad!

Yea, this isn't nearly as bad as you're making it out to be. A 1/2 mile through massive river swell and chop will mostly prevent the skis from coming up to the kiter areas.

@KMG-365 similar thinking here. My wife is learning to kite. Thought maybe I would bring her up to wells island and let her do down winders to the sand bar. Away from the crowds.

I was also thinking I could pick up loose boards that say REWARD on them and pay off the jetski rental. Very Happy

Those were my thoughts. My son was learning at the sand bar a few years ago and was taken out. Now he went to Windsurfing g which I dont mind. I would like for him to get up wind of the controlled chaos and this sounds like a reasonable way. How about a couple of us rent one and I will gladly chase boards etc on it!!

i think its killer, and am only saying so because of the attitude of the first couple replies. Lots of talk on the forum lately of making the HR waterfront area more suitable for others that aren't wind sport junkies. Im firmly behind all of that, including this. Now there is a way for your hot gf to come to HR and not leave your ass for widowing her on the beach for 4 hours while dudes with their asses hanging out of their shorts started the 'whuddup baby' routine with her. Maybe there is also a way for you to go find that board that you lost when you figured out the truth about the swell at the bridge.

Shit, I wish i would have thought of this.

Join CKGA perhaps someday they can have a jet ski support like they do in Squamish?

Lets be safe.

I would be all for going in on a group deal.
