Slingshot Joint Reviews?

Hey,

I just got an email from Slingshot that had a lot of cool goodies I would love to try this year but the one that intrigued me the most was the Joint. It's like a cross between boots and straps and I want to get my hands on a pair of these things to try them out. Has anybody used them?

What kinds of advantages/disadvantages do you guys think there would be having bindings like these? Here is a link: http://ride.slingshotsports.com/The-Joint

I have demos in those here at the shop if you want to try them. I have yet to try them myself so I dont have a comment yet except that they look cool.

I think something like this is a great idea, allows for riders to get more technical with tricks but still slide in and out of the bindings on the go. I've always been a fan of being strapped in to wake boots just for the support, but I'd give these a try.

I'm still waiting to demo some as soon as it gets warmer out.

I want to hear from some riders with some first hand experience to see what the pros and cons are.

We tested them down in La Ventana three weeks ago. They were loved by many. Nice snug, cushioned fit.
