didn't want to think it but i'm afraid it's happened.

i left my Liquid Force 138 Mission on the Event Site grass this past saturday, went kiting on my surfboard and when I came back it was gone. i returned later that night to look for it again and nada.

i thought maybe a friend borrowed it, or even someone mistakingly picked it up but i have my digits clearly written on the board and i haven't gotten a call or seen a found post yet.

with the increased traffic (especially around the event site) we're gonna see more kooks and non kiters looking at stuff that isn't theirs. beware.

and if anyone see's a board that looks like this with LF heel straps for sale i'd like to hear about it. especially if my number is on it or crossed out.

Shouldn't be too hard to spot.. not that many 07 138''s floating around these days. That was one of my favorite graphics and color ways too! Always wanted to ride the 138 that summer when I should have been on the 144cm because I was so into how that one looked. Was always stoked to see you out there riding it!

Hopefully someone will come clean and give you a call.

Worst case scenario we just need to get you on another killer LF board. Call me and grab the new Influence 134 or 138 and take that for a spin when the wind comes up again.

That's weak! I thought of that last weekend with my door sitting out in case the wind backed off. I know this has been happening in Cali as well, just so many spectators curious about the sport, and so many folks hurting for money these days.

For those in the bike world who remember finetoothcog (http://blog.oregonlive.com/commuting/2009/03/stolenbike_owners_remember_fin.html) - maybe we need something to scour CL and eBay for boards, too?
