Oh man PKH! Those injuries are bastads. Heal up.

I flew a Rev for the 1st time yesterday at the S jetty, 11m (thanks Ben). Best waves of the season,, wind was Ok. That kite is pretty sweet and had me trying some stuff I can't do on my Fuels. At the shipwreck, we traded around an 11m T2 and a 13m Fuel. Observations ...

- Fuel: definitely more powerful sending you back towards the wave, instant response and the power is very smooth through the powerzone.
- T2: I was overpowered on the 11m but it was not uncomfortable, just too lifty and hard to set a rail against. True kitesurfing is where I think it excels. It shuts down and lets you surf, then returns when you need it.
- Rev: Nice fit between the two. Better and easier upwind ability vs. the Fuel. Fast turning w/lighter bar pressure than the T2. Jumps were more distance but not as boosty as the Fuel or T2. Most importantly, the Rev could either shut off on the wave for kitesurfing, or you could send it down the line for more-powered kiting. It was a tough one to outrun b/c it would hang out and wait for you pretty nicely. Looping is easy.

Didn't mean to hijack the thread, just wanted to get some observations down.

Congrats on the Quiver of Revs Phil
Bummer on the Ribs

Both Barfly and I can atest to the "Surf Tough Construction" of the Rev.
We both got washed pretty good. The surf was like 6' to 8' at 4 to 6 sec.
Scared the doodie right out of me, but it was so much fun
