Hello to all:
From Fort Lauderdale:
I have been skunK with capital k over the past two days!
I is cold and not many people kiting. I had the chance to meet legendary people (100 feet fall - Neil Hutchins - thin lRasta Mr. I can't remember) to hear this guy/s speak about the sports is great. Told them "I am from oregon" and some know about hood river. They think kitters from hood are big for the condition they practice on. Quite a disappointment when they get to teach this colombian with an accent and who kites most often at Sauvies. Heheh
Hey, But I am still here, and... got good connections. Today is the big day!
I am sure. Got all my gear packed! Bye |

What does this mean? What size kites are they flying over there and are there no people kiting because of no wind or its too cold or combination of the two? |

NO, the reason you can't kite in ft laud. is that the wind is from the OPPOSITE direction! I.E. WEST!
Get thee to the left coast of FL where we have been getting 20-25 kts everyday! Forecast for the east ,Right coast , is no wind offshore.
Best bets are sarasota, tampa, st pete, marco island, ft myers.
At least the way the forecast goes for next week |
