First - Thanks to City of Stevenson for the cams and website as well as free parking, grass rigging, bathrooms - great facilities!!!

But does anyone know what all the different readings are on the Stevenson local weather site?

Current speed and gust? Hourly averages, daily average, high gust for the day, ????

I haven't a clue, but I sure like those balloons you're using in your image. Is that in MS Paint? Where'd you get them?

I have not the slightest clue, I've been looking at that thing for over a year now, and never once thought about it...

Send the people that run the website an email and ask them. I've asked them something before about a new cam when it was failing last year, they responded pretty quick.

Not sure, but I fucked up the sensor today when I flew my kite into it! We did re-angle the cam though...

I can't believe Adam's kite didn't damage that thing. And his kite survived unscathed.

Yeah, it's been a spendid week for me... I should STOP kiting.

1. Crash on the rocks.
2. Yesterday, lost my cell phone at the gas station near my house before kiting, though in the end it was returned (got run over by a car, but my case/housing saved it - only a few very, very light scratches).
3. Today, unhookin' waaay up by where the SS dock used to be. Slam down, don't feel the slightest yank (had just switched from suicide to my safety line), and look up to see my kite FLYING away. Reach around my back, only to find that my leash's emergency had somehow fired.

Tucker's gf took some pics, I think.

Holy shit Adam, I missed that today!
Here's some motivation

It was nuts today, everybody was getting slammed.
Word to the wise(ish):
Don't do tricks super close in at Stevenson unless it involves a kiteloop.

As far as the wind readings go, I just go by the big bold one.
Plus you can't go wrong if the lowest one looks good.
Awesome weather info though, and for free!

geeeeeesh ADam, you and me too!!

1. Maybe I should have gone to stevenson yesterday for some better luck??
2. Instead I went to HR where there was NO WIND.
3. And then, I got hit at the HR exit intersection by a young 18yo teen.

4. Now, I'm rolling the sweet Dodge charger rental car. Yeah!!

I know Adam Very Happy ..I'm just in one of these moods:

Rumack: Captain, how soon can you land?
Captain Oveur: I can't tell.
Rumack: You can tell me. I'm a doctor.
Captain Oveur: No. I mean I'm just not sure.
Rumack: Well, can't you take a guess?
Captain Oveur: Well, not for another two hours.
Rumack: You can't take a guess for another two hours?
