Hey Spike thanks for working the spit. It's awesome to have hot food when we are done kiting. I love the dogs!
Everyone on the forum please be nice. This Spike is actually a cool dude. Also please try to suggest things that are possible to make at a cart on the spit.
It would cool to have some basic turkey, chicken or veggie sandwiches not sure if it's possible with the cart. I think Ground in HR makes some of my fav sandwiches. I also love the idea of chicken tacos

I would love fresh Tamales or any of the other suggestions the other guys have made. Thanks for providing tasty food at the spit Spike! It's the best addition we've had to that parking lot in a long time.

I had a chance to sample Spike's fare the other day... so good! I have a few recommendations:
1. Ingredients for a Chicago-style dog, shouldn't be too hard to put together
2. Some type of teriyaki or bento deal as mentioned above; chicken + rice + delicious sauce = kite fuel.
3. Full Sail on tap. Aww Yeah.

bento and post sesh tacos. I hardly ever see a kiter not on the water w/out a beer & I usually have a 18pack of something in my truck that proves I am a low life, so beer on tap is not a necessity for me.
Good add to the spit this year dude. |

hell yea, i second trevor's menu ideas, except for the beer, it would probably be cheaper and more selection/availability at the gas station |
