on the way up to Timberline with Forrest and Ian and Dylan...
what a sweet day for it!
They'll be down at the spit this afternoon.. shredding up some of the new features.
Forrest, Lloyd, Joby and the rest of the slider crew have really pulled it together in the past few days to have a bunch of features for the weekend.
If you build it... they will come...
thanks to all those that have helped out with the building, moving, financing, etc to get some stuff built and put HR on the map, legit as a worthy spot for terrain riders to visit!!

Who do I need to call with some story of a family (LF family that is!!!) emergency to get you out the door?

I wish dude. I have a meeting 3:30-4:30. Plus I've felt kinda shitty all day yesterday and today so taking it easy for now. Just hoping I'll be better for the weekend. This is not one I'm willing to miss. I guess that's what I get for pushing my body hard and then hanging out with non-kiting friends who aren't feeling well. Bastards!

Thanks Tekko. Tell them my brother "Slider" almost drowned and floated away in the Hood River and needs help recovering. I guess since my parents are currently in Hawaii without me you and Tonia can play substitute for now.
Yeah, if I feel better tomorrow I'm definitely gonna bail in the early afternoon and come session that shit. Anyone know some home remedies? Maybe I'm just in withdrawal from booze? I'll start drinking beer after work to get ready for the weekend.

It was a good day at the spit today (6/12/0 - saw a lot of the usual suspects
Rueben was there - but I didn't see Dre.
The wind was up and down and very strong and then totally died at the end - I was down by the mouth of the Hood River when the wind died - worked my ass off to get back up wind  totally exhausted now. But no complaints - I got to ride and it felt good!!!

Yeah that was me man. It was a total pain in the ass trying to get up in wind in dying winds with an extra board. It was a pretty nice LF board - didn't want it getting lost.
