Hmm, could be doable at Sauvie in some stormy gusty wind. Isn't Lyle under water anyway? Forrest and I saw it from the freeway coming back from Rufus and that green channel marker sign was barely above water. Usually it's way higher (maybe by 10ft or so). There was no land visible except for the steep slope leading to the railroad. Wouldn't be a very fun launch and land procedure. _________________ The Slider Project, LLC

go to sauvie and tell us how it is. I'll give you $2 in gas money if its on.
My heart is saying bolt out of work and run out there, my brain is telling me its just a passing front.
If all else fails, sk8kite sounds like fun.
No ollying the slider though.

6 to 16mph from the West NW (290 degrees), not too favorable of a direction and or wind speed. Take beers for sure if you go as your hands will need something to keep them busy, because I doubt you'll get a session on the water.
The water is probably extra clear and clean though with all the rains within the past 24 hrs. |

I'd like to hit it - but I just shipped out my light wind board to some guy in Virginia and my new board (WLF 145) has not come in yet - _________________ Still rockin gojos, *ssless chaps, and ankle weights! |
