Phil - Nah, just 60i with my cam. 60P would definately be nice for kiting though!
Florian - Yup, still a loop. Obviously you can't see the kite, but you can see which way he's pulling on the bar. Also, notice after the backroll his lines aren't twisted.
Mike - I'll try something like that this weekend. Don't have any shots of the kite at this time, otherwise I'd just overlay it. |

This might be the vid you're thinking of:
http://media.bestkiteboarding.com/videos/rainman.wmv
Andy Hurdman does a back roll transition w/hand drag at 2:20, then at 2:40 he does an even sweeter hand drag move that looks to me like a non-transition forward roll from toeside, ending with a kiteloop.
It's one of my favorite vids. |

| Yea, that's definitely a kite loop, but it's he's sweeping away from the kite and looping it late. You can see where he grabs the back of the bar with both hands. |

Yeah, I'm thinking it's still initiated like a transition w/front roll, but with more forward speed, and the kiteloop at the end brings the kite back in the original direction. |

| Sounds like a fun trick to work on, just be sure to loop it super late... |
