Hmmmm. Hagg has a lot of things going against it.

It's basically in a big valley and has tall trees on its shore, so the wind isn't going to be clean.

There's not a lot of "beach" / launch space except in a few places.

It's mostly got an orange clay shore and bottom, and that stuff sticks to everything.

But if you can make it work, let me know Smile

Alas, may friends, twas a waste of gas Embarassed .

The NOAA wind forecast for that area was 17 NW Laughing . Actual wind was 0-2.5 SW Crying or Very sad . Water felt like a hot tub and was clear and clean looking, but obviously I didn't get to play in it Mad .

True on the orange clay and tree comment Confused .

I bought an AquaGlide for da Mrs.. Me thinks it could be a nice spot for a picnic and a non-intimidating venue for learning to sail. Heckenstiens, I'll pack my kite just in case. Mountain biking trail around lake looked like fun and is allowed.

Report: Nogo from the Fobo from NoPo.

David - careful of going mountain biking too early in the season around Haag lake. Its a cool trail and if you get in trouble you can just go on the road thats not too far off the MB trail. The problem is that there are a lot of stickers early in the season. I think someone goes by and clears the trail sometime.
