If you're heading East on highway 14, make a right on S 27th Street. This place is so far just a rumor, so don't go there expecting to kite.

It looks like you might have to walk east for a little ways.

I just left the Airport. I was flying my trainer and the wind picked up about 1 hour ago. As I was leaving a guy was pulling himself around on the beach on a tricycle.

This is probably a long shot, but that isn't a Diesel and Crossbow, or is it? Tucker and Amery? Wink Why-o-why did I not come home this weekend..? Hopefully the conditions are similar next week!

P.S. - Were they doing a downwinder or was it solid enough to hold ground?

Actually it was Takashima and Tucker (??) who completed the bridge run... Emery’s crossbow ended up on the dock/deck of a house boat when his handle-pass went wrong as the leader line got wrapped around one end of the bar and the bow went into full death Evil or Very Mad spirals. Emery got to a log boom, ran/swam to the dock & grabbed his kite as it was knocking over a bench... Confused Fortunately he & all his gear were OK.

Anyone make it to Cottonwood Beach?
