Anyone in the Portland area interested in a similar deal? This is from the yahoo nwkite forum (Seattle):

"I have a deceiver bag that I've been known to loan out on a small barter system It goes like this:

* You give me a cash deposit of $140 (cost to replace the bag)
* I give you the bag
* you go have fun kiting someplace
* you bring back my bag
* I give you back you $140
* you give me a six pack of something tasty or whatever you barter with.

I'm in West Seattle and I'd be happy to hook this up for you."

yes, i am doing much the same thing to offset the cost of the bag. my method is close but, i don't drink so i am asking for $20 for the rental.
