The bridle's a lot more compact than the T2 (like the REVs). Center line, below the bar safety. Bar can be configured in 2:1 or 1:1.
I didn't realize you guys were going to use that bar this year! Good shit! I like it!

Here are some pictures of the kite connections and the bar in 1:1 mode.
When the connections are moved inward the kite is in 1:1 mode, towards the tips is 2:1 mode, that is why you can't fly the T2 in the 1:1 mode.

Just resized those picture for easier viewage...
That 1:1 is sweet for powered up boosts! Float for maximum time!
Some of the things that are new for the T3
1-New moto bar grip
2-Center Safety System (4 line below the bar safety)
3-1:1 or 2:1
4-Short tangle free bridles
5-Canopy tight as ever
6-Wing tip pocket (for the extra line for 1:1 or any extra goodies ie pigtails)
I had a chance to fly them in MN this winter and that 14m is the work horse for sure. Tons of low end grunt and with the 1:1 its quick and the bar pressure is much lighter. Same with the 11m. Haven't had a chance on the smaller sizes but maybe this weekend they could come out.

| Here is a close up of the wingtip pocket. The pocket is for your bridle and leader extensions when they are not in use. |

Linking points should be different... So, assuming the canopy has pretty much the same shape, only if you had new points sewn onto the LE.

| what sizes will they come in? I have a rev 11 but was wondering how a small t3 6 or 7 would compare to a similare sized rev. It seem like in hight gusty wind it might have some advantages and in the small size turning is not as important.

woo, I finally have internet access!
Is there a way to convert an '07 bar to an '08 bar using the new below the bar safety? (i.e. new chicken loop and new thick grey spectra rope or something)

You could definately rig up an '07 bar to have a below the bar safety system, but it won't be cheap. There are a few little pieces which are essential for the "center line" to pass cleanly through the bar, and they are pretty pricey (Active Stopper Ball with hole drilled, upper guide ring, center line bungee, and CCS handle). And figure you'd probably need new center lines for this setup too.
Just don't know that it would be all that worth it... I'm totally with you on wanting the conversion. If I had T2s, I'd probably want to do the same. The problem you may run into isn't related to the bar, it's to the T2's bridle. Being that it's not as compact T3/REV, it may be more prone to tangle. I don't know for sure, but you'd probably want to test your safety a bunch of times in its current configuration and watch what happens. If you don't notice the kite falling funny or a bunch of tangles, then you may be alright!
