Hey All... Finally got around to posting the Baja pictures on my website. Sorry kids, but the trip ended up being much more about surfing. There are a few decent shots of people kiting, but even better surfing shots.

Too many pictures to post here, so check them out in my website gallery at: http://www.jbamphoto.com/gallery.asp?catvar=12

Thanks, Bam..

PS: Drop by the Rossignol booth this weekend at the ski show and we can chat about wintery stuff.

Bam

Great Photos
Sushi on the beach !

Punta Somewhere ?
Can't remember all those beautiful breaks huh?

La Ventana is going to seem really boring to you now without surfing.

Bummer on the kiting aspect. I seem to recall the same thing happen when Bammer jetted off to the PR for a kite vacation that turned into a surf vacation.

Apparently I was a bit misunderstood... We kited just about EVERYDAY and ended up either on 12m or 10m kites. Those pictures of Chris are on a 8m kite with 16m lines... yeah, it was windy everyday with sideoff perfection and waves. I just found myself much more drawn to learning how to surf since... well, just look at those sweet waves...

waves like that.....don't think anyone would be looking for sympathy - though people might not be too keen on you taking pictures and posting them on the web.....now where did say that spot is? Wink

Exactly why there is no location given or obvious landmarks in the pictures...

Bammer,

It's pretty difficult to misundstand:

"Sorry kids, but the trip ended up being much more about surfing"

Perhasp, it was a poor choice of words or not what you meant to write. Wink

Can you believe all the snow!
Crystal opens this friday!!!

cheers,

jp

Love the shots Bam... don't care if you were surfing, kiting, or just sucking down cerveza... I'm still jealous. Thumb's Up

JP...

Except that Puerto Rico was about three weeks with absolutely no wind. Baja has delivered the wind goods every time...

Shit yeah, the snow is starting to fall hard, the knee is recovering, and the twin tippers both dull and rusted, and ready for both the powder and rails...

Hopefully the weather gods will keep the cold and precipe coming at the same time. I am planning on hitting either Stevens Pass or Crystal over Thanksgiving, so lets make some turns soon.

I'd say those pics have opened enough eyes as it is. Careful with that camera. Wink
