Just got back from Maui. Great wind and waves. A couple images to warm everyone.

Very nice memories Lance. That wave at Lanes looks similar to the one that might have broken my foot on Thursday. I made the mistake of impacting a breaker mid jump and I think I'll be limping around for a few weeks . To make matters worse, I had to crawl back in over the reef, ouch...

That footprint can't be from Sasquatch. . . he/it has been seen kiting in the western gorge/Rooster Rock the past week or so.
Excellent pic's. . . |

Thanks all for da comments. Temps were in the upper 80's and winds typically very strong. Used my 7 alot and 11. I busted out the 13 once and found myself swiming for almost 2 hours when the wind died.... pulled over a reef trying to relaunch. A sweet slice on my foot as a souvineer.
Um don't expect the locals to catch your kite when coming in either... evidently they are too cool (until you meet them). Still very strange about that. I'd reccomend kiting at the beach closest to Kanaha park if you go. _________________ www.lancekoudele.com |
