I was overpowered on my yarga 11m, I'm inexperienced and my board is big. Decided to quit whilst i was ahead. Couple of others out, one guy on a 12m north, both looked to be very powered but doing fine. Loads of beach upwind if you want to give yourself a buffer by walking before you launch. Pressure Report 1:05 pm update ******************** Astoria-Portland: East .03 increasing Portland-Dalles: East .07 steady Dalles-Pasco: East .02 increasing Easterlies continue moderate pace around Stevenson through late morning, easing off this PM. Weaker for Corridor and E Gorge. 11:30am Update- Mostly on track late morning. Latest pressure analysis continues to show high pressure across the deserts and lower pressure at the coast, helping maintain some moderate easterlies out around Stevenson. • Gradients should ease this afternoon, so watch for Stevenson and Rooster upper teens to low 20s to lose steam in the next few hours. • Lighter through the Corridor which may scrape a low teen or two.
