Hey Phillip, you have a nice new Pyro Pro drysuit; you can laugh at the weather! Very Happy Hell, Adam was out in a shorty a couple of weeks ago... OK, I'll admit I haven't kited in wx that cold yet, but how bad can it be? Very Happy (Probably bad, but what the hell, I'll try it at least once.)

I want it to be REALLY cold. The girlfriend suprised me a couple days ago with a Pyro Surf, so we'll see how it does! It's cool, you kinda look like Tank from Surf's Up in it...

Here's the forecast for tomorrow for Troutdale and Camas...

Looks very doable! Very Happy I'm guessing Nukage at RR, but if so Cottonwood should be good, as long as the wind is E or SE and not NE. 41 degrees at 7:00 AM, Looks like you're getting your wish Adam! I drop my daughter off at school at just before 7:00, I can be at Cottonwood at 7:15 or Rooster at 7:45. Anyone else up for an early morning? If not, what time can everybody get there? (I'm not a fan of riding solo in the winter... Shocked )

I can be at either place but I have to get back to the office around 9:30 or so. The smallest kite I have right now is a 9 so I'm leaning more towards CW, but then again, I'm fat right now... 220 and I don't want to get skunked at CW.

I'm down to ride tomorrow, but might as well let it try and warm up a little first.

I would think so. Not positive, but I'd guess the water is still in the low 50s.

WEDNESDAY...PARTLY SUNNY. BREEZY. HIGHS 45 TO 50. EAST WIND 5 TO 15 MPH EXCEPT 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 50 MPH CASCADE LOCKS WESTWARD.

Rooster still looking to be nuked tomorow, so Cottonwood should be good, but let's see what happens in the morning. I can give an onsite report of Cottonwood at 7:15 AM if it looks like it should be good there...

Despite the fact that I now have a meeting in seattle at 1:00, I'm planing on cottonwood at 7:00. I lack the capability for an onsite report..I guess I could call Tony and have him post whats up.

Yeah, I was just going to call somebody too! I'll check the sensors at 6:30 and assuming it's looking good I'll be there at probably 7:10. See you there!

Yeah I deserved that! I don't mean to be a smart ass... Embarassed Okay, I'm at least going to get in the water and see what 30 degree air temp is like in a drysuit. Not saying I won't wimp out and head home afterwards though!
