				| Besides Home Valley to Stevenson, are there any other spots for Gorge easterly downwinders? Anyone done a downwinder that ends at Rooster rock? The walk of shame is getting old. | |

				| Back in my old Gorge windsurfing days we used to go from the boat ramp at Dalton Point to Rooster- about 4 or 5 miles. It goes by quick with the current. I don't know how kite launching would be at Dalton Point, although if you kite in the Gorge a lot you're probably used to tricky launching. | |

				| Dalton Point boat ramp to Rooster Rock is pretty fun. About 3.5 miles or so. The wind is a bit gusty but gets better the closer to RR you get.
The launch isn't too bad as long as you have someone to launch the last guy (it's an asphalt boat ramp.) Otherwise you'd need to drift launch or something.

				| Because the water level is so low, you don't have to launch from the asphalt boat ramp right now. There is a large enough sand beach to launch from on the west side of the boat ramp, but it can get a little mucky in there. | |
