Please note, I'm not interested in your opion on global warming and other crap like that, i just want to know what you think winter will be like for snow, wind, weather, the international production of twinkies ect.

Thanks

The state of oregon meteorologist George Taylor said it is going to be particularly wet and snowy year. George's forecast should be taken with a grain of salt though as A. I took a climatology class from him at OSU and he was a complete and utter douche bag and B. He has written a couple papers that make the claim that there is no global warming......WTF!?? Shocked

anyway, here is the link if you want to day dream about tons of powder ..

there have been two freak winters since i've been here (00-01 and 04-05) where the precipitation and snow pack was absurdly low over the course of the whole winter. it seems to me no-one had any ability to predict those winters ahead of time, but maybe someone did call it?

Word from some of our customers that travelled to Chile and Argentina this summer for skiing, is that South America has had one of the best snow seasons in 7 or 8 years.
Typically Chillean winters are a good precursor for good NW Winters.

Farmer's Almanac also predicts a cold and very wet winter.
Expectation is for a very good snowpack (no warm weather interuptions mid-winter).

**Big snowpack would mean big Spring runoff (future of sandbar growth?)

I think the latest climate expert, Al Gore, said the sky is falling. Maybe it was Chicken Little.

Anyway, It think this means it is going to dump tons of snow.

I think what Al Gore really said was put down your big mac, shut the TV off, and try pulling your head out of your ass to see what is going on.

I say a great bumper sticker once it said "don't believe everything you think"

Al gore said that he created the internet........besides for a guy that is so "worried" about the enviorment you would think that he wouldn't need three transformers to power his estate. Al is a jack ass.

I don't want all you guys taking shots at each other.

sincerely
