Stopped in the shop, he was getting ready to give my friend Evan and 10 others some lessons - he definitely had his stoke on - living the dream - we left an offering from the nwcrew

That your East coast surfboard Gman? Happily waiting for you after a lonely summer while you cheated on it with the SRT? I won't tell.

Its not really windy there, or at least its only windy when it rains is my experience.

I can see how you photoshopped a few pics of kites flying, but how you got IWindsurf to fake their readings on all those sensors I can't guess. Its all a conspiracy.

NW Crew representin!!! The Magic Hat offering this morning was definitely a pleasant surprise. Sorry I couldn't visit or session with you guys more...between being on evolution camp and fall photo shoot at KP time was tight.

You guys probably didn't see me, but I caught the opening leg of one of your AM downwinders from SDA to Avon. We were out on the ski's with camp, I think it was Saturday. All I saw was a sea of waroo's and Trevor rocking out on his Rev. I was going to try and catch up to talk some shit, but Trevor was leading the pack at full speed to planet...he disappeared into the haze in about 5 flat.

I actually did catch up with Tonia and Sonja randomly enough in the line-up at Sea Haven on one of the light wind days earlier in the week. Awesome to finally meet them.

Anyways, glad you guys were able to take advantage of the NE goods. Safe travels home, and if anyone else is thinking of making that flight out east for some Hatteras butta and swell let me know so we can at least setup some downwinders. Don't bring Phil though...I think he was the X factor that killed our wind last October... Twisted Evil

No my eastcoast board is still in hibernation in Jupiter. Tekko styled me out with his liquid force rocket - very sweet surprise.

funny when your not with Phil its windy and sunny everytime I've been. this is my 4th trip. only 1 time we had rain and no wind...MMmmm!

this was my best trip to date to hatteras..don't let PKH make you think its never windy here.
Planet of the Apes is a must see. Check it out on google earth, just south of the town waves. It was hard to get Gman out of PofA he was having so much fun. We definatly followed the Hatteras tradition by not riding up wind..loging over 22 miles of downwind riding. great trip guys!

Your so funny Phil..must be the cold weather getting you grumpy! Laughing

It was super choppy, I forgot how Hatteras is known for its huge bayside swell! Razz

This pic it is blowing about 20 to 30..sunset around 6:45PM
@ Buxton Flats. Do you see the 2 to 4 inch chop rippin' down the channel there! We should be on surfboards it is so big!

Ahhh - when Hatteras is good, it's damn good. Glad you guys scored. Soundside rental w/ hot tub, wind & beers - life doesn't get any better that that. Just thinking about it makes me feel good.
