Here's Phil getting his well deserved, 51 lap, winning Rev/Lunacy quiver.

He said the kites and board make him feel like Ruben. Too bad his old body doesn't feel like Rubens when the tricks don't come out right. Shocked

Congratulations on winning the quiver Phil! You must have been celebrating BIG today. Recover quickly! Talk to Amery for the secret to a quick comeback.

thanks everybody, it was a joyuous day! Nothing better than free kites, especially REVs.

Only problem with those kites is they make you think your Ruben.... as a result I think I bruised a rib yesterday Evil or Very Mad

Doesn't feel that bad this morning, but I think I am going to go shopping for a seat harness/nitros shorts and will probably be getting more aquianted with my surfboard.

I've heard bad stuff about rib injuiries from most of you, hopefully mine is mild... I am pretty sure it was my hand that got pushed into my ribs NOT my spreader bar, which is good.

Henry got taken out too, board edge to the face... hope he's got it taken care of.

Way to go Phillip, it's awesome that SS hooked you up, they are a great crew! Best quote in awhile yesterday at Stevenson after someone said Amery's rib injury was worse...... " I don't do anything as good as Amery, including hurt myself " ......something to that effect. Very Happy

Damn Phil, that sucks! It's our harnesses. We've all gotten fucked up on them! Oh well, they look clean and fit well... just can't wreck hard. Wink

No Sh** Batman... Shocked

I broke a rib wearing my warrior harness about 2 months ago. (I'm just now getting back into the flow of things)...
Avoid crashes...don't get me wrong, the warrior harness is still pretty bad ass...But I'm concerned w/ the design near the spreader bar...Seems like a bunch of us w/ some sort of rib injury w/ the warrior harness...
I decided to go with the Nitrous shorts until next year....
