Whether you like the Rev, or not, I assure you it is not like a Waroo. Very different animal.

Not even close. I flew the waroo for the last year and a half. The waroo I feel is a great kite, and I think the best of the previous years designs, but the Rev to me is clearly a step above.

The Rev turns faster, much more stable high end, generates more pull through the turns, and relaunches easier than pretty much any other kite out there. It also has one of the best safety designs to date. Oh and it is also one-pump.

There are a couple things I think that can be improved upon. The depower takes some getting used to and is a bit harder since it is so close.

One of the best things about the kite to me is that now i can have the best kite for me, support a kick-ass local company, and get great customer service.

So thanks to SS for making such a sweet kite, to Pepi for the demo's and pre-order deals, and to mother nature for givign us a kick ass weekend.

I finally got back into town and picked up me quiver of Rev's at Gorge Performance. I heard that sling shot is sold out until the next shippment, sometime in Sept? Gorge Performance still has 9m and 11m kites in stock. I got a rippen deal on a quiver from Bob. If you havent picked up a Rev, you owe it to your self to fly one before you leave the planet earth.
