I haven't kited there, but been there when people were kiting. You can set up just North of the public parking lot and head out from there.

PS... let me know if you go, PM me or something, I'll be in Pacific City. Maybe I'll cruise down and hit it with you.

Is there driving on the beach there...?

Looks like it would get good N-NW wind, or even Southerlies..

no driving on the beach, and the parking lot is really small...

I HAVE BEEN KITING ROADS FOR 6YRS, ITS NOT THAT GOOD,GUSTY AND WIERD MOST OF THE TIME.THE DOWNWINDER RUN IS VERY SKETCHY,TONS OF ROCKS AND THE WIND GETS REALLY LITE. IF YOU START ON A 9M YOU NEED A 12M REAL SOON. ALLS I KNOW IS NEWPORT IS WAY BETTER THAN LINCOLN CITY. LETS HIT THE JETTY Exclamation

That's it JIMI send them all to Newport, huh?! Roads End has gotta be the most consistent epic kiting beach on the whole Oregon Coast.

Gonna be riding this weekend, Steve? Looks like Newport's been solid the last 2 days. Hoping tomorrow will be decent, though I won't be out 'til after 1-2ish. Saturday possibly too? The fam's camping at Beverly!

Oh yeah,
Waldport's the spot - and soon there's going to be 1200+ half a million dollar homes owned by kiters in the new golf course subdivision! Baja will be a thing of the past when they discover Waldport in the wintertime!
