I just wore shorts last week at Sauvies but some people where still in shorties. Bring a hoodie though cause when the sun goes down it gets chilly on the beach.

she be an evil temptress. should've gone to stevenson. oh well. i keep telling myself that i can't go back to that place unless i have a sauvie's kite... not gonna buy a sauvies kite. but i still haven't learned yet. you think you might get solid 11m but then have to settle for a meager skim session.

These reports are helpful when trying to dial in the Sauvies forecast. Let us know how we are doing.

Hey George~!!!! I ain't be no meteor-ologist and I know my avatar does not necessarily scream intelligent life form, BUT the only way you are going to ever predict what is going on at Sauvie (and it is Sauvie not sauvies) is to put a sensor out there.

It just changes too damn fast out there. It doesn't make sense at all. The clouds could be gone, urban heat island in effect, isobars squeezing together and you drive out there........ to watch people fish and get drunk.

No problem George. Thanks for checking in with us.
Yesterday's wind was indeed enough. The other major factor was river current not in our favor. Wind shifted around a bit but was most inconsistent when it comes over the trees from a NNE direction.
Thanks again George!

PS - Sauvies is just fine. Wink

Even though it's not a big deal, I probably should wait just to see which ones are used. Gonna go find that out today.

In other news; Sauvies is blowing 12N already! Yesterday was pretty up and down in the time we were there, but whatever. Gorge today!
