I've kited Stevenson longer, and possibly more often than anyone on the planet, I've seen some gnarly injuries, broke both my heels on a bad launch, watched from the water as a guy slammed into the rocks so hard I was sure he was dead {he wasn't] and recently nearly broke my arm because someone had rigged their lines across the launch/land area that tripped me when I was trying to help a guy after a sketchy launch.
Just like fight club, there's one rule at Stevie. DON'T RIG OR LEAVE GEAR IN THE LAUNCH/LAND AREA!
This rule began in the early days after a girl hurrying to catch a kite tripped on gear and broke her leg , compound fracture tib/fib. If you don
t know the area I refer to, ask a local or read the sign. The locals, by the way, are some of the nicest people I've known. _________________ Kite Repair? AND WINGS Call me.(509) six 37-four five 29 |
