				| I've never been to Lyle to kite and am interested in checking it out. I've searched here and on the net and can't tell what the proper way to access the spit is? From what I read, at some point in the past it seemed like crossing the tracks was a big no-no, but not finding a published alternative. What's the accepted method to access it now? Thanks- Dan

				| Since there's no way to technically avoid 'crossing' the tracks, Lyle users have invented a magical teleportation feature, as illustrated by the dotted lines in the image. Do not park on the street. Do not climb the barricaded entrance directly across the street from the parking lot. Hike the trail to the east and teleport from one side of the tracks to the other to avoid crossing them and potentially incurring the $1000 fine and loss of use.
And you didn't read this here.
