				| With everyone moving to winging and the crash of used kite values, are there still significant car break-ins for stealing kite equipment? I've heard that thieves don't bother with windsurfing stuff. | |

				| My kite gear was stolen from my car recently. Several of the items were returned by neighbors - apparently the thieves got tired of toting it. Another reminder to put your number on everything.
I doubt most thieves keep up with wind sport trends. A lack of interest in windsurfing gear is probably because of the size, not an assumed lower value.

				| I would say yes but only because they don't know what it is. They see a backpack and think it must have something in it worth value. Within in Hood River might be a different story, but still, I'd probably be more concerned with my Catalytic Converter just about anywhere. _________________
