				|
 |
				| Just came across this while doing some research for work. It's hard to say whether this is different than any other wetsuit. I'll probably ask the manufacturer about how they comply with restricted substances requirements (like this) the next time I buy a wetsuit.
 Product: Neoprene suit
Name: Shorty 3/2mm Bzip Flatlock Color Black
 Brand: Mystic
Type / number of model: 35000.230140
 Barcode: 8715738813298
Country of origin: People's Republic of China
 Risk type: Chemical
 Risk description:
The black fabric of the product contains an excessive amount of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), notably chrysene, benzo(e)pyrene and benzo(e)anthracen (measured values: up to 5.95mg/kg, 6.09mg/kg and 3.54mg/kg by weight respectively). These PAHs may cause cancer.
