Just watch... in the last 15 seconds it's going to go over $600. lol Nah, hopefully it stays cheap. This dude was trying to sell his '07 Fuel 13 and 9, and no one would bid over ~$450 (perfect condition, only used a few times). I think Dano got over $500 for his '06 13 though.

I know, that damn 07 13m went for like $370 or something and I had fallen asleep at the wheel and not sniped it. Sad

ROFL! So I guess I'll be riding a 06' fuel.

$305 baby! Is there anything better than watching the bids go crazy and you know people are hitting refresh, refresh, refresh, and I'm just sitting back and watching; just waiting.

Then with 3 seconds left...BAM.. auction sniper bids for me and I win it. It's almost not fair.

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Yah, the second hand market for “C” kites is really tough for sellers right now. Lot’s of product out there and most new kiters seem to want the “Bow”

I ended up getting $600 plus shipping for my ’06 13m Fuel. Sold to a chap in the U.K. It took two eBay auctions. Just got to time it right...

Good for you PDX MB!!

I’m sooooooo stoked with the ‘07 Fuel!! Nothing wrong with the ’06, but the ‘07 bar and kite design are noticeably better. Primarily the improved low end and de-powerability (is that a word? Is now… Wink ) ~D

Hey PMB, any chance you might explain your sniper system to those of us who don't use Ebay very often?

So you get it?

I think the guy changed the picture - are you sure this isn't a 2006 fuel?

I did get it, it is a 2006.

A bid snipe is something that you set up from a outside website (auction sniper, bid snipe, etc. etc.) You create an account and then you can set up a snipe anytime.

To set up a snipe you enter in the ebay auction number, the maximum amount you want to pay, and how long before the auciton you want the bid to be placed (the default is 4 seconds).

So the site website watches the auction and with 4 seconds left, automatically puts the next highest bid amount in place for you (if it is within your max price). then they e-mail you if you won it and they take a very small fee 9like 1 or 2%.

Its kind of not fair b/c it totally jumps in at the last possible second and puts in the proper bid, but fuck it, if your that much more web savy then more power to you. It is fun in a very deviant way to watch all the people scrambling with their bids and when the dust clears......you won the item Laughing

damn, i didnt know about that snipe site stuff.....i got picked off on a bunch of kites/boards, i got so sick of ebay with that happening in the last 5 minutes.......i've found way better deals though on ikitesurf.com classifieds (ie-i recently got a quiver of 8/10/14m torch '05 and 12m raven with 4 full '05 naish bar/lines- 1 for each kite, a new dakine harness, couple pumps, leashes,etc.....all for $600. everything in perfect condition and 2 kites i dont think were even used....

its awesome market for riders(buyers) who like c-kites
