Write down the serial number. list it as SPORTING GOODS, stay away from anything boat related, water equals boats which is out. On your policy, get new replacement type of insurance if you don't have it. Renters insurance is cheap and home owners you would already have if you are buying a home.
The cargo box works also, but you got to remember to lock it well also.
For your hide a key, use a real estate lock box, key is secure and combo protected. |

| Either get a new lock or try putting a latch system like on a gate or fence with a padlock. It may not look as cool but than you can keep your keys in your car and only have to remember a comination |
