BOG Party Friday night featuring Guitar Hero

You might not win BOG but are your good enough to win the Guitar Hero KB Challenge 07?

Everyone is invited to the Bolstad clan's kite compound for a BBQ and the first Guitar Hero Challenge after the Friday kiting session.

So we don't have any responsibility for drinking/driving, we will supply the food (brats/burgers, etc) and everyone can BYOB or BYORum. We'll have ice tubs set up for your beer and mixers availbale for the Rum at the tiki bar and showing pix from the kiting session on the project/screen. Bring your suit (as if we every get out of them) as you might want to jump in the pool or hot tub.

We are located 10 minutes from the beach in Stevenson above town and we'll hand out flyers with directions on Friday at the beach and probably later on this forum.

it's on playstation 2. we have two wireless guitars that work as controlers, and anyone can play because there are different settings from easy to difficult. it's pretty much the coolest game ever. Cool

Carol and I went shopping last night and bought tons of food - so the party is on rain or shine! We'll probably head up the hill around 7 or 8 after kiting (hopefully) on Friday. Easiest way to find the place is to follow us up the hill. If you're coming in later see the map below, or for folks with a GPS unit put in 732 Stewart Road, then go a little past where it says to really find us.

Basically, from Joe's El Rio, head east, turn left at the Chevron station, right at the top of the hill, (follow the Paw prints in the road), left at the first Y, right at the second Y, (stop following Paw prints), left (almost a U turn) at the top of the hill, right on Stewart just after the Fire Station, follow the road to the top of the hill, go right at the driveway at the end of the cul-de-sac. Park. Party.

Edit: one request - please drive slowly on Stewart road so you don't get the neighbors upset with me. Thanks!

ps: if anybody is worried about driving after the party we have plenty of room if you want to pitch a tent in the yard or crash in one of the lounge chairs by the pool.

hey tony, i know it's tough to make a call this early, but what do you think? will it go today? wind doesn't look very promising, but i keep hoping! I can finally kite again, and feel like debuting the foilboard!

It's looking pretty dicey - Shan said it's blowing just a little east this morning. I think it will be around 1 or 2 before it kicks up. Love to see the foil board in action if you get a chance.

Pkh: no troopers visited last night - give us the whole story when you're feeling better.
