First couple times I went out I used one because I was curious how fast I could go. Went over 20 knots on my first couple sessions in the gorge, so I'm sure you pro's can go much faster.

I clocked myself at 70 knots once but when I crashed, the GPS unit actually incinerated so all data was lost.

go ahead, make me cry. Crying or Very sad

In my defense, my strap finally gave way on that jump. That, and its really hard to jump with one foot that currently functions as a stump.

I took mine out last week, a Garmin Forerunner 205. After about 10 mins on the water I checked and freaked when it said 68mph.

Took about 3 seconds to realize I turned it on in TD and drove to HR, I hope no OSP read this...
