| I’m just getting into winging (from snowkiting/kite buggy and some semblance of attempts at kiteboarding) and would like my kids to be able to join me learning if they were so inclined. If I’m flying a 5m, what size wing would be good for them at around 100lbs (me around 190)? And does anyone have one they’ve been thinking of selling off by chance? |

My daughter is learning and she is around 100 pounds. She uses a 4.2 and a 3.5 meter wings. My son who is younger and smaller is on a 2.4 and a 3. They both started on a 120L board and very large wing. My opinion is to make it easy for them to foil at slow speeds. My son is now very handy on his much smaller gear, and my daughter is just getting comfortable learning to foil on the big gear.
