Okay, well that was at 7:00AM, but what do you think it's going to do today?

Westerly pressure is decreasing and from the north it's steady...

EDIT: Forecast says 15-19NW, so that's like 5m, right?

Yesterday 07-04-07.....I was one of the few out @ SI yesterday....
It was nice....the winds were very very steady....The crowds....Like oh my god.... Shocked Shocked Shocked The crowds were huge....Bikinis everywhere. (adam-you would have loved it) (any gay-ness thoughts from prior forum chats would have been eliminated).. Shocked Shocked Shocked I must admit....it felt very cool riding out there with huge amounts of people watching you...It's like...they think your god or something...For the average beginner, I don't recommend this place with soo many freak'n people...Unless you stay out into the main channel...I think about 8 people asked me..."is that hard or how much does that cost...?
I rode on my Machine and the glide from 3 till about 7:30....I was probably over powered most of the time...It was nuts....Dano was also there, putting on a show...It was fun...Parking was a biaatch...took me 1/2 hour to park...Over all, not a bad day....And yes, SI will deliver today.... Wink

Well I forgot my trainer kite that day...I had like 2 girls ask me if they could try it... Surprised

Rule #1
Rule #2
and Rule #3....Never leave your trainer kite at home... Crying or Very sad
Bring it - stash it behind your car seat...

I just don't feel like driving far... otherwise I'd be at Stevenson or Lyle.

Dude, some 300 lb guy with a sombrerro (spanish for cowboy hat) holding a beer in his right hand and a cigarette in his left hand ask me where he could go to buy one cause he wants to try it...

So...this takes me back to rule #4....Never forget your '02 slingshot fuel that you so desperatly want to get rid of for like 50 bucks that no one with a clear mind will want to buy.... Wink

Doesn't look like the Machine will be needed today, the way the AM is going. Razz

Hey dude, I don't mean to sound like a sick'o but don't two 12's make a 24..? Wink

Or you could cougar-size it by getting four 12'ers.... Wink

300lbs, that's kind of a lot. Did you tell him that Slingshot does make a 25.5m kite which might work for him in high wind, but no board would ever survive, except maybe the Lunacy (it'd just have permanent wakeboard style rocker)? Sorry, I keep responding with these posts. I'm really bored and should leave home soon. My new RC airplane isn't done yet...

Dude, this guy was like mommoth style with no business on a kite or a board...His best bet would be the hood of my truck as a board...Not kidding... Shocked

Seems like when Sauvies goes as early as it does today it doesn't last as late... i could be off, but that's just my experience. Then again it could get even stronger and go all nuketacular like it does just often enough so that we all don't give up on it. Very Happy

Anyway I am so beat from yesterday, don't think I will make it... or will I?
